it could be a broken motor mount, have an honest mechanic check it out for you.
go to auto repair
sounds like a motor mount or ****** mount is bad
It might need a new timing belt. If your car is “out of time” it could run roughly.
check the engine timing or any blockage to the fuel line.
Don’t stop perhaps?
My Harley does the same thing, but I like it;-)))
My friend has a Ford Escort that does the same thing. Took it to 2 different Ford dealers and they both said “Yeah, Escorts do that.” What kind of car do you have?
It can be a tune up or motor mount. My car has had it and tune up has solved the problem.
I think this may be a transmission issue. It be anything from the fan belt to an engine overhaul. If your car is still uder warranty take it back to the dealer. If not, shop around at authorized repair shops for a quote. Be warned that this repair will cost $$$.
How old of a car is this? Is it fuel Injected? What’s the Make and model. Somethings to look at, vacuum leaks, bad fuel filter, weak fuel pump, Timing belt skipped a tooth, low compression on the cylinders, bad fuel, bad motor mounts. I would start with the cheapest first. Vacuum leaks can be found pretty easy and repair of them is cheap. vacuum hose is around 5 to 20 cents a foot. If you have never replaced it, replace the fuel filter. Change all filters at least once a year. If you have more then 100,000 on the car and have not changed the timing belt it’s possible the belt has jumped or skipped a tooth. if you have high mileage on the car the motor could just be worn out and needs a overhaul or rebuild. have a qualified and trusted shop in your area run a compression test on all the cylinders. Have the Motor mounts checked out. If they are torn or rotted away replace them.
